As a part of the Canton Country Day School Service Learning Program, the eighth grade class volunteers at Habitat for Humanity, a tradition for ten years now. The Class of 2018 made the decision to donate to the community for their class gift which is normally given back to the school. This year, $1700 was raised and two outdoor sheds were donated and built, by the class, to give to two families who will receive a Habitat home. CCDS celebrates service learning, with instruction and reflection, to enrich the learning experience, teaching civic responsibility, and strengthening communities.
