Students in Mr. Turner’s Greek 3 Honors class had the opportunity to participate in a virtual class with Dr. Michael Flower, professor of classics at Princeton University. Author of a book on Xenophon’s “Anabasis,” Dr. Flower guided the class through lines of ancient Greek.

Mr. Turner used this virtual lesson to connect what the students’ learned during the session to things in our current culture. This also was a great learning experience for Mr. Turner who had the opportunity to step back and allow someone else – an expert on a topic – to be a facilitator in his classroom.
