At The Hill School, our faculty support students in the classroom, on the playing fields, in the dorms, on the stage, and in the community. We created a series of videos that profile our dedicated faculty members who embrace what it means to live and learn at The Family Boarding School.

In this video, Patrick Lake, Ph.D., talks about his role as an instructor of classics and track coach at The Hill School. Dr. Lake describes The Hill as a place where there is intense intellectual study in a supportive and caring atmosphere where people look out for one another. His students remark that Dr. Lake’s classes are not just lectures, but rather engaging conversations where students learn Greek and Latin as well as life lessons.
