We care about climate in western Maine and are teaming up with the author of DEEP The Story of Skiing and The Future of Snow and watching the film Chasing Ice to start our Earth Day events. Campus energy use tours, a celebration of local foods, vernal pool tours, reclaiming run off water for gardening, compost learning, star gazing and an early morning “Polar Plunge” kick off a lunar cycle of Earth action.
