On December 6, 2014 in San Francisco, CA, International High School students organized their first-ever TEDx conference–completely on their own. Topics included taking into account the user experience when designing transportation; looking critically at factors that influence girls’ self-perception; how gaming can be useful in education; and not confusing digital images for modern-day heroes valued for their actions. Students displayed critical, independent thinking when investigating the subject matter, and confidence while presenting. We look forward to hearing more of their “ideas worth sharing” in years to come!
