Thanks to the overwhelming support and generosity of our community, San Francisco Day School was able to enhance our campus with new “Innovate & Create” design spaces. With flexible design spaces and tools, our students are empowered to embrace their journey as learners and to explore “productive failure” through experimentation. They learn the value of prototyping, iteration, and how to learn from what didn’t work. Doing so allows them to push the boundaries of their knowledge, to be courageous in embracing failure, and to seek solutions to real and relevant problems and challenges. This video is just a snapshot into what happens in the Innovate & Create space…or as one student put it, “the dream workshop.”
